Chiropractic is the branch of the healing arts based upon the understanding that good health depends, in part, upon a normally functioning nervous system. “Chiropractic” comes from the Greek word chiropraktikos, which means “effective treatment by hand”. Chiropractic stresses the idea that the causes of
many diseases are in the body’s inability to adapt to its environment. It addresses these causes not through drugs and chemicals, but through locating and adjusting musculoskeletal areas of the body.
Are you going to “crack” my neck?
In most cases the answer is no. We can help you get out of pain without the popping, cracking, bending or twisting that most people are leery of. We use some of the most advanced chiropractic equipment and techniques known today, eliminating the “cracking” and twisting that has been associated with chiropractic. We have found that this type of work works faster and last longer for about 80% of our patients, 20% of the time it doesn’t and we can always revert back to a more traditional type of chiropractic care. You can watch a demonstration of this type of work by visiting our chiropractic demonstration page.
What conditions do you treat?
Chiropractors are most commonly known for treating neck pain, back pain, arm and leg Pain, numbness, dizziness, carpal tunnel, acid reflux and slipped discs. By treating the spine and allowing the body to heal itself, chiropractic has been successful in helping many other conditions. For more information on specific conditions please visit our chiropractic conditions page.
How much will it cost me and will my insurance pay for care?
You will find that care in our office is much more affordable than you may think. Most insurance companies cover chiropractic care and we are an in-network Provider for most major insurances. For more information on our fees and insurance please visit our insurance page
Will I need to come in over and over and over again?
Absolutely not! Most of our patients inital care only takes 3 to 9 visits. Once we get you back to a pain free life, its up to you if you want to have regular “tune ups” or just come in when you feel you need it.
I am not in pain, or sick.
should I see a chiropractor?
Symptoms, or the lack thereof, are not a
good way to judge a persons health. Most heart attack victims have no idea that they have a problem until it’s too late. Pain and other symptoms often show up only after years of body malfunction. Most people maintain their automobiles better than they do their own bodies. Chiropractic is preventative and proactive care.
Who goes to a chiropractor?
We see people from every walk of life and at any age. We have successfully treated newborns that are a few hours old to individuals that are over 100. Some people that you may know of who use regular chiropractic care are Lance Armstrong, Bob Hope, Joe Montana,Demi Moore, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Madonna, Mel Gibson,
and Tiger Woods, just to name a few…
